WEB provides modern English. KJV, ASV, Enoch and Jubilees preserve the historical English of the selected editions. The teaching explains difficult wording without silently changing the reading.

Book collections, versions and reading availability
| Study track | Reading here | What to understand |
|---|---|---|
| Ethiopian tradition | 1 Enoch, Jubilees and shared-book readings; research links for the wider canon. | The church’s 81-book description involves book groupings and a wider tradition. Meqabyan is not simply Greek Maccabees. The complete wider collection is not bundled. |
| WEB, KJV and ASV | Complete 66-book readings in the packaged editions. | These editions let you compare modern and historical English in the same shared books. They do not supply the whole Ethiopian canon. |
| ESV, NIV, NLT and NRSVue | Six lessons each with passage links to the reading host. | Use the linked edition’s text and notes. Their complete copyrighted texts are not bundled here. |
Word Explorer counts cover KJV and WEB only. ASV, Enoch, Jubilees and linked modern editions are not included in those word totals.

Sources and edition information
Enoch follows the main body of Charles’s 1917 printing, including its grouped and occasionally rearranged headings; its reading sections are not a new chapter numbering system. Jubilees follows Charles’s 1913 translation. Historical editorial judgments and supplied words are retained. Introductions and full editorial apparatus are available at the source links.
