Read moves and reverse them
R, L, U, D, F and B name right, left, up, down, front and back faces from the current reference grip. A bare letter is a clockwise quarter turn when looking directly at that face. A prime mark means counterclockwise; 2 means a half turn.
Looking directly at the back face is different from looking through the cube from the front. To undo a sequence, reverse its order and invert every move. Keep the grip constant throughout the sequence.
Worked example
R U R' U' is undone by U R U' R'. Four identical quarter turns return a face to its starting state.
Try it yourself
On the simulator, do R four times, then practise R followed by R'.
Interactive 3×3 cube practice
Yellow up, white down, green front, red right. Turns use that fixed grip; changing the view changes the camera only.
Supported moves: U D R L F B, optionally followed by ' or 2. No whole-cube, slice or wide moves.
Solved practice cube. This simulator demonstrates moves; it does not solve an arbitrary physical cube.
