Position the yellow corners
A corner can be in its correct location even if its yellow sticker does not face up. Compare its three colors with the three centers around that location. If all corners are in their correct locations, skip this sequence.
If one corner is correctly positioned, hold it at upper-front-right. Apply U R U' L' U R' U' L, then inspect positions again; repeat if needed with the correctly positioned corner kept in that reference slot. If no corner is correctly positioned, apply it once from any front and inspect again.
Worked example
A yellow-green-red corner at upper-front-right is correctly located when green is front and red is right, regardless of its twist.
Try it yourself
Identify corner locations by their three colors before deciding to turn anything.
Interactive 3×3 cube practice
Yellow up, white down, green front, red right. Turns use that fixed grip; changing the view changes the camera only.
Supported moves: U D R L F B, optionally followed by ' or 2. No whole-cube, slice or wide moves.
Solved practice cube. This simulator demonstrates moves; it does not solve an arbitrary physical cube.

Check your understanding
Can a correctly positioned corner still be twisted?
Position identifies the slot; orientation identifies which sticker faces each direction.
