Learn. Practise. Build real understanding.
School subjects, languages, puzzles and practical skills—with worked examples, explanations and guided practice.
Compatibility comes first
Record vehicle year, make, model, trim and factory audio package. Identify whether the radio is integrated with steering controls, cameras, warning sounds or vehicle settings. A radio that fits the opening is not necessarily electrically compatible.
Use model-specific documentation and suitable harnesses or interface adapters. Avoid cutting original wiring as a first approach. This course explains planning, not a universal instruction for every vehicle.
Worked example
Two cars of the same model year can have different factory amplifiers and therefore require different adapters.
Try it yourself
Make a compatibility worksheet listing vehicle details, radio model, mounting kit and interface needs.
Check your understanding
What must be checked beyond physical fit?
Factory integrations can require specific interfaces.
